High School West science students recently joined students around the state to participate in a live LEGO challenge to build creative schools that nourish all the learners.
The event, hosted by Take Action Global, was designed to bring awareness to digital wellness and promoting responsible technology use, environmental action, and meaningful connections — to both people and the planet.
High School West science teacher, Kimberly Williams together with SCSD Technology Integration Specialist, Tim Needles, joined the program live to show what our students have been up to as well as learn from other students around the state.
Students brought whatever they had on hand — LEGO bricks, recycled materials, arts and crafts supplies, or anything else they could use to build their vision for a better world.
